The 1st International Conference of Transdisciplinary Research on Environmental Problem in Southeast Asia 2014 (TREPSEA 2014), was held on 4 th and 5th September 2014 at Swiss Belinn Hotel, Makassar, Indonesia, which was organized by Ehime University, Bandung Institute of Technology and Hasanuddin University.

The conference featured both oral and poster presentations and workshop. Conference participants presented, shared and discussed the ways to solving the problems in Southeast Asia with stakeholders based on their experiences on topics related to disaster mitigation,  measure and improvement to urban environmental problems,  sustainable development and environmental preservations, and security of food.
